What is bad odor
Bad odor means displeasing smell which is perceived by olfactory sense of human, which is emitted from ammonia, fatty acid, aldehyde, mercaptans and many more(some hundred thousand materials). The Article 2 of the law governing air quality preservation, bad odor is defined as smell that comes from vapors such as H25, mercaptans, amins, and other irritating gases that irritate human olfactory sense and smeel displeasing and offensive. At the momnet, approximately 400,000 substances are known to cause bad odor among 2 million substances known to human so far. Those materials have unique smell and different offensive odor concentration. Human olfactory sense may be very inferior to that of animals in terms of detection, but is capable of detecting concentration taht ranges from 1ppm to 1ppb in the casr of certain composition.
Odious material
Though materials with similar structures or homogeneous composition have similar properties of smell, isomer, and other, haver different smells, Inadditoin, materials with large molecule quantity(over 300 molecules) have no smell because they are non volatile and insoluble, and materials with molecule quantity less than 20 have almost no smell at all that human can detect.
Principle of removing offensive odor
Activated charcoal is the absorbent that is currently used the most. It possesses the properties that absorb different domponents even if moist exists in it. Furthermore, it has large quantity of molecule and a great tendency to retain moist against hydrophobic component (which is not hydrophilic). Many different organic gases and offensive odor are absorbed and removed physically and chemically by using equipment that exerts strong pull based on the free bond of molecules on solid surface composed of molecule layer and chemical bondage of gases on
