Yuantong Marine Service Co. Limited (“Yuantong”), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) and the centralized procurement solution provider for marine equipment, spare parts and store supply destined for COSCO SHIPPING's fleet. Our extensive network spans across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Germany, and the United States. Our esteemed services encompass end-to-end solutions ranging from tailor-made, streamlined and high-performance marine equipment to precision spare parts of all classifications for both current and future-model ships. Moreover, our range of services extends to radio communication systems, satellite communication devices, and sophisticated navigation systems specifically to oceanic vessels, offshore installations, coastal stations, and land users. Finally, we also provide voyage repairs and Port State Control (PSC) support. The predecessor of Yuantong Marine Service Co., Ltd. is the Ocean Dept. of Hoi Tung, a joint venture between the former COSCO Group Corporation and China Merchants Group, which is a joint venture of 50% of the shares. It is responsible for the procurement of spare parts in the former COSCO Group. On November 1st, 2001, COSCO Hong Kong Group acquired Hoi Tung's Ocean Department and Hoi Tung Communication Instrument Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hoi Tung Company, and established “Yuantong Marine Service Co., Ltd.”.
