The off shore helicopter refuelling system by DESMI FHS comprises of 1 Aviation fuel storage, in the form of 2 No.2900 ltr capacity, cylindrical aviation fuel storage tanks 2 Separate pump skids, including ATEX electric motor driven, centrifugal pumps (one at each tank location), nominal capacity 180 ltrs / min @ up to 7 bar, each furnished with it’s own suction “Y” strainer, discharge swing check valve and isolating ball valves. These sub assembly also include the pump starter panel, filter / water separator vessel, complete with associated valves and pipework.
The unique 100 litre per minute Helicopter / Light Aircraft refuelling system comes complete with FWS and hoses including a de-fuelling / drum pod. The system is widely used with both Air Portable Fuel Cells (APFC’s) and the ever present 40 Gal fuel drums. The system comes with a NATO standard plug to allow the system to use as a power base the aircraft batteries. The highly portable system is easily transportable internally in all aircraft The 100 LPM system in operation using the aircraft power source The 100 lpm refuelling system as an alternative can be connected to a Ground Power Unit (GPU). This allows the GPU to be used to refuel and power start the Helicopter / Light Aircraft. We have developed a special model suitable for use with aviation gasoline.
Simultaneously enables two “engine running” aircraft fixed or rotary wing to be re-fuelled.
