Solg™ h-Taq DNA Polymerase는 Thermus aquaticus DNA polymerase 유전자를 E. coli 에서 발현하여 고순도로 정제한 recombinant thermostable Taq DNA polymerase에 특정 chemical을 처리한 Hot start PCR용 효소입니다. 상온에서는 chemical 처리로 효소 변성이 일어나 활성이 억제되므로, non-specific product나 primer dimer와 같은 비특이적 증폭을 방지할 수 있습니다. 고온에 도달하면 효소의 refolding으로 본래의 기능을 회복합니다. Refolding 과정으로 인해 일반 Taq DNA polymerase와 달리 enzyme activation에 다소 긴 시간이 요구되며 (pre-denaturation : 15 min), 그 결과 target gene에 대한 특이성이 매우 높아 SNP, microsatellite 분석에 적합한 제품입니다. 구성에 포함된 5X Band Doctor™는 template DNA에 G+C 비율이 높거나 반복적인 염기 배열, 복잡한 구조로 인해 발생되는 PCR 효율 저하 및 비특이적 증폭 문제 등을 해결하는데 사용합니다.
