HANSAENG INSTRUMENT originated from the only Korean silk manufacturing company called "HANKOOKSAENGSA" which means "Korean silk" in Korean.  

In 1976, HANKOOKSAENGSA established the instrumentation engineering division and formed technical alliances with YAMARI in Japan for temperature sensors, ANRITSU in surface sensors and thermometers, and SHINKO in electronic recording and control instruments, and produced instruments in Guro 3 Industrial Complex. In 1983, we became an independent HANSAENG INSTRUMENT as a small and medium-sized enterprise, and in 1984, we became the first company in Korea to produce and supply sensors and related instruments through a technical alliance with SHINYEI in Japan.

Measurement is the act of human judgment of things, and HANSAENG INSTRUMENT has made instruments for accurate measurement from the first visual measurement, and as new instruments continue to develop and make life more enriching, HANSAENG INSTRUMENT will further promote the development of instruments with this sense of mission.
