The emission of greenhouse gases can be reduced by replacing the existing halogen illumination with eco-friendly LED illumination.
We at LVS Co., Ltd. successfully developed the high luminance display LED spot illumination by deploying the power LED that is differentiated from the existing LED illumination. It puts out 40% more intensity of radiation compared to the halogen illumination when photographed by CCD camera. Considering that color filters are used for the halogen illumination, there is almost no difference in the intensity of radiation. The power consumption is 1.4W and the emission of CO2 can be reduced by 97% compared to the halogen illumination.

Drastic reduction of maintenance cost is possible by replacing the existing halogen illumination with eco-friendly LED illumination.
The merit of using the halogen illumination is the low initial investment cost. However, since the lifespan of the halogen illumination is 50hours minimum to 2,000 hours maximum on average, frequent replacement of light source, readjusted labor cost and the loss resulting from the halting of production line are inevitable. Contrary to the halogen illumination, the lifespan of LED illumination is 3,000 hours minimum, and with its high controllability and durability, can lead to lower maintenance cost than the halogen illumination within 2 years, and guarantee stable maintenance in the long term.
