Introduction

Our history of engine manufacturing dates back to 1973. Our first president, who was involved in the development of honor engines at Nakajima Aircraft during World War II, began manufacturing steam engines for model airplanes during the postwar growth period.

Subsequently, he started development of engines for model airplanes. After much research and improvement, in 1979, the company succeeded in developing a 4-stroke engine to break away from the 2-stroke engines that had been the mainstay of model aircraft engines. The FA-30 four-stroke engine made Saito Seisakusho a household name around the world.

In 2006, Saito was faced with the challenge of using gasoline, which is cheaper and more readily available, as a fuel. Overcoming the many challenges that stood in the way of this unexplored development, we succeeded in developing a 4-stroke engine fueled by gasoline, which was virtually unheard of in the model engine field at the time.

In order to realize the modeler's supreme pleasure, our thorough quality control and A/S have been recognized around the world, and we have become a global company, which is rare for a small town factory. From single cylinder to star shape, we have a one-of-a-kind product lineup.

Engines that shake your soul to your hands. Saito Seisakusho Co., Ltd. faces one-of-a-kind engines with the power of 'monozukuri' today.
