MINIATURIZATION AND HIGH SPEED IN THE HARSHEST ENVIRONMENTS

Amphenol µCom-10Gb+ series (pronounced, Microcom) is designed to meet industry demands for miniaturized connectors with rapid transmission speeds and high resistance in extreme environments. Environmentally tested to MIL-DTL-38999 Series III military specifications, these miniature connectors with a 15mm (.59˝) max. external diameter can exceed 10Gb/s per IEEE 802.3an-2006 even in the harshest environments. A 2000 mating cycle coupling provides end users with one of the most rugged and micro sized interconnect solutions on the market.

Features and Benefits

  • 500h salt spray RoHS compliant plating
  • Solder, crimp and PCB contact styles
  • IP68 sealing for mated/unmated receptacles
  • Temperature range: -55ºC/ +125ºC
  • Available in threaded and push pull style plugs

The rugged IP68 design features four completely insulated twisted wire pairs throughout the connector to minimize cross-talk. A threaded coupling mechanism provides high vibration resistance. The design provides IP68 sealing for mated and unmated receptacles with 500 hours of salt spray resistance.

Features

  • 10Gb+ exceeds 10Gb/s Ethernet following IEEE 802.3an-2006 : 10GBase-T
  • CAT.6A connector according to TIA568C.2 and ISO/IEC11801 standard
  • Environmental testing based on MIL-DTL-38999 series III military specifications
  • Miniature : 15 mm(.59") max external diameter
  • 4 pairs totally insulated throughout the connector
minimum cross-talk between the four pairs
  • Patent pending special interfacial shapes
minimum perturbation at the interface of each pair
  • Thread coupling mechanism
2000 mating cycles & high vibration resistance
  • IP68 sealing mated and unmated for PCB receptacles
