ChemOptics Inc . designs, manufactures and markets high quality optical components for the optical communications on the basis of advanced waveguide technology and innovative process. Since the establishment in April 2005, we have been continuously presenting unique products, which exhibit indisputable advantages on cost effectiveness, reliability, highly integration, and scalability. The current products are Variable Optical Attenuator(VOA), Optical Switch and integrated devices based on these components. All of these products are electrically controlled and have no moving parts resulting higher reliability and agility control. Moreover, we have been continuously improving and simplifying design and manufacturing technology to satisfy the needs of our customers in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

We also produce and provide Optical Waveguide Resin(polymer material) with wide range of refractive indexes for the industrial purposes and research activities. We have commercialized new polymer material that is available to nano and micro optical elements using UV-imprinting techniques. Based on the superior polymer resin, we have developed our polymer based optical waveguide products that can be mass produced with compact size, low cost as well as superiority in performance. These polymer waveguide products have provided optical key solutions for our customers to strengthen their competitiveness in the market and increased their profits.

ChemOptics VOA is a compact variable optical attenuator that provides low insertion loss, small footprint, and extremely high reliability. Based on polymer planar lightwave circuit(PPLC) technology and unique operating principle, it delivers more than 25dB of dynamic attenuation range with less than 20mW of power consumption per channel, and can be easily scaled to multi-channel operations in a single small footprint package. With outstanding features and excellent price-performance ratio, our VOA provides special advantages in metro and DWDM networks.
