Maritime large cavitation tunnel
•A test facility to analyze cavitation in ship propellers (second largest in the world)
•A massive research facility capable of verifying cavitation performance and testing by installing a model ship and a model propeller on the observation area

Deep water basin current pumping facilities
A major pumping facility for current generation to be installed in the ocean engineering basin for deep sea by the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering (KRISO).
The current generation device consists of a current pumping facility and a current channel. The current pumping facility runs five axial flow–type pumps to control the velocity of the flow and its dispersion within the fixed area.

•Installed in the world’s largest deep sea ocean engineering basin
•The current generation pumping facility is capable of reproducing fluid flow, such as currents and/or ocean currents, in deep bodies of water.
