Overview of HUMAX

Because HUMAX is made from naturally occurring materials, it does not adversely affect subsequent biological treatment, but on the contrary, promotes the original function of microorganisms and improves treatment capacity. In addition, since HUMAX directly decomposes oils & fats, it also suppresses the generation of bad odors.

Differences from other companies' products

Most other companies' products use surfactants (detergent ingredients) or enzymes, which cannot directly decompose and remove oils & fats from raw water, but simply dissolve them in there to prevent floating scum in grease traps, etc. Dissolving oils & fats in raw water may conversely increase the raw water load (BOD, etc.) and adversely affect subsequent biological treatment. In contrast, “HUMAX” directly decomposes and removes oils & fats, and organic matter, thereby reducing the burden of subsequent biological treatment.

Effects of HUMAX

By adding HUMAX, the microorganisms living in the wastewater treatment system are induced and cultivated in a more natural state, improving the naturally occurring purification function and decomposing and removing oils & fats, and organic matter.
Recommended dosage: 0.04ℓ/kg of oil & fat load (dosage may vary depending on oil & fat composition).

No grease trap cleaning required
HUMAX removes a large amount of oils & fats from raw water simply by being added to an existing grease trap under aeration, which eliminates the need for complicated cleaning and disposal of collected scum.
No pressure floatation equipment required
As the addition of HUMAX directly decomposes and removes oils & fats in raw water, it eliminates the expensive running costs from the disposal of floating scum and the flocculants by making “pressure flotation equipment” to remove high oil & fat content unnecessary.
