Characteristics
Among commercially available permanent magnets, it has the strongest magnetic force.
Surface treatment is generally used to make up for its disadvantage of low stability against temperature and oxidation.
Although general grade has low stability against temperature, high grade can be used in temperatures up to 220℃.
Since it is stable against external magnetic field and maintains high magnetic force, it is used for a very extensive range of purposes.
It is most commonly used magnet along with sintered ferrite magnet used for motor, sensor, speakers, toy, metal detector, high-strength adhesive/attachment parts, as well as for simple attachment and packing material purposes.
Its precision degree and shape can be controlled depending on the magnet grade and processing method.
