Having commercialized semiconductor equipment and part cleaning and coating in 1996 for the first time in Korea, KoMiCo was established as a new corporation in August 2013 through a split-off from MiCo as the surviving company to promote specialization in the field of semiconductor equipment and part cleaning and coating.

Through incorporation with MiCo Ceramics as a subsidiary in July 2023, KoMiCo expanded its business to include manufacturing of key parts for semiconductor equipment, and it has strived to become a leader in the global semiconductor equipment and parts market.
