Introduction to the production company of Myeongsu-ri

Sung Se-je, the first founder, founded the company in 1974 with the know-how acquired when Sung Se-je was working on repairing machinery at the Cheonggyecheon Industrial Belt after the Korean War in 1965. At that time, there was no base for machinery manufacturing in Korea, and Japanese, German, and American products were imported and used, and military machinery replaced industrial machinery. By analyzing the driving principles and advantages and disadvantages of foreign products, we developed the first two-stage compression high pressure piston compressor (15kg/cm2) in Korea and started manufacturing and selling it. Since then, as the industry has developed, we have developed and completed the development of a 200kg/cm2 class ultra-high pressure compressor in the late 1980s, starting with the delivery to the special forces and defense sectors of the Republic of Korea, and in late 1999, we developed the first 300kg/cm2 class piston compressor in Korea, supporting the development of the domestic industry with the basic technology of gas compression. In 2011, we completed and commercialized the 700kg/cm2 class multi-stage compression piston compressor for the first time in Korea and the second time in the world, and made a new milestone in the field of ultra-high pressure compression, starting with the delivery to the domestic POSCO group. From the production company of Myeongsu to MSL Compressor.

In 2005, the company renamed itself "Myeong", "S", and "L" MSL Compressor after the initials of "Myeong", "Msu", and "L". Currently, in the field of ultra-high pressure air compression for human hops, we have high-quality, high-purity gas compression and filtering device source technology, and these technologies are applied to industrial gas compression to introduce them as oil-res grade high-purity air and gas compressors. Our consistent efforts for quality have been recognized by the Presidential Commendation in 2001, the Minister of Knowledge Economy in 2011, and the Quality Award in 2012 and 2013. In addition, we have secured the highest quality and technology certification in the related industry, and we are greeting people with reliable products. 

As of 2014, the cumulative number of sales is about 100,000 units in the domestic and international markets, and many customers who used other domestic and foreign products have found out and purchased them by word of mouth with the delicacy and honesty that care a little more for the convenience of customers than for the company's profits.

With the second generation of management and succession of the family business, it continues to grow with 40 years of know-how and technology.

Sung Si-min (current CEO), the second son of Chairman Sung Se-je, has experienced a lot in production, sales, R&D, etc. since 2002, and took the position of CEO in 2012. He has been educated about the technology of pneumatic machines from an early age by the founder, and as a second-generation, he is not only complacent about management, but also manages on-site. We are planning and conducting various fields such as production, product service, sales, and R&D, and we are making great efforts to continue the philosophy of production that customers can use with confidence, product that they can receive services, and good repair of technology and trust 10 to 20 years later through continuous growth.
