POSCO FUTURE M embarks on a new journey.

In March 2023, with the goal to be an eco-friendly future materials provider, POSCO Chemical rebranded into POSCO FUTURE M. The new name represents our commitment to spark global “movements” to build a prosperous “future” by supplying basic industrial “materials”.

Half a century ago, POSCO FUTURE M began as a refractories manufacturer that supplied materials for the construction of POSCO Pohang Steelworks. Afterwards, by producing basic materials, such as quicklime, we have made significant contributions to Korea’s industrial growth.

Today, as a strategic move to seek sustained growth, we are expanding our reach to energy materials like cathode active materials and anode active materials, i.e., core materials for next-generation businesses.

On the strength of sound technology and business competence, POSCO FUTURE M will march toward the vision of a “Motivate Future Movement for a better world” and evolve into a centennial company.
