Samyoung Unitech was founded on July 3, 1992 as a manufacturer of industrial and automation machinery and has since developed many advanced solutions in the field of radiation technology. Samyoung Unitech was the first South Korean company to produce medical radioisotopes such as Technetium-99m and Iodine-131 – vital to a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures–in addition to medical cyclotrons and the peripheral devices necessary for the production of other short-lived radioisotopes.
