A measurement is taken from a distance of 300mm by setting the secondary pressure reference nozzle as 0.2mm in diameter in the plant.
Operating Principle
Vortex Air Nozzles are made of aluminum and stainless steel structures. Vortex Air Nozzles use a small amount of compressed air and amplify the flow to generate the same results as open blow off jets and open pipes and nipples.
The adjustable nozzle has the advantages of being able to adjust the removal of foreign matters, the discharge amount and the discharge rate of air by adjusting the injection amount by turning the adjustable knob, so it can consume air economically in industrial sites. Vortex Air Nozzle to entrainambient air and inject it can make the compressed air saved by 70~80% compared to that when using a pipe or injection tube. Vortex Air Nozzles deliver flow rates up to 25 times greater than the compressed air ordinarily used. Noise levels are reduced substantially with the use of Vortex Air Nozzle.
Expenditures for additional compressor capacity do not occur. However, a 1/4”diameter open air jet in an open air line can consume the entire output of a 25 HP compressor at 100 PSI(7bar). Thus, it is recommended to use the Vortex Air Nozzle using the compressed air of a small amount.
How It Works
Compressed air is released through an inlet nozzle, which reaches sonic speed. This creates a low pressure area which draws in surrounding air to amplify the total flow of the air nozzle. Vortex air nozzles are designed to maximize the speed of the primary compressed air enabling the first nozzles to entrain large volumes of surrounding air to do an equal job to open compressed air jets and pipes.
