Capability improvement of a sanitation management device for draft beer feeding lines and 100% home production of import-dependent products.
One-touch type convenient button operation and securing a source technology of an all-in-one cleaning system.
Improves cleaning power through the bubbling of raw cleaning water by using CO2 gas and generating pulsation.
Economic feasibility
Saves on raw materials by reducing the lost amount of beer when cleaning pipes and replacing beer barrels.
Convenience
Possible constant KEG replacement without the need to disassemble the device by cutting off CO2 supply when draft beer is exhausted.
Maintenance of cleanliness
Maintains cleanliness through a non-chemical cleaning method in a device instead of a cleaning method that uses several equipment.
Maintenance of quality
Supplies fresh draft beer all the time through regular cleaning management.
Problems in the Hygienic Management of Draft Beer
(1) Cleaning method of feeding lines that are connected to the KEG coupler and sanitary problems
When draft beer feeding lines are not cleaned regularly, protein, yeast, and other slimy residues are narrowed in the lines, which can cause the growth of harmful bacteria resulting from a lapse of time and temperature.
(2) CO2 gas explosion in the KEG coupler
If you open the dispenser valve without knowing that it is already time to replace the KEG coupler when draft beer has been exhausted, bubbles might spurt outside the dispenser valve and explosion might happen because of the pressure of CO2 and bubbles.
After replacing the KEG coupler, you have to completely remove all the bubbles left in the lines to use fresh draft beer, which causes waste of materials, including draft beer, and water pollution caused by sewage ejection.
Existing Cleaning Method
1. When the draft beer feeding lines from the KEG coupler to the dispenser valve are not cleaned every day or regularly, the amount of sludge and bacteria are increased.
2. For the cleaning method of draft beer feeding lines, there are some ways that use individual equipment, such as chemicals (caustic soda, which is a strong alkali), water, a pump for pressurizing cleaning containers, an ozone sterilizer, and a sponge water cleaner, but it is inconvenient and generates excessive maintenance costs.
Cleaning Method of Sparklin
1. A safe and sanitary nonchemical and nonpowered device that integrates cleaning and sterilization.
2. Does not require disassembly of the device—cleaning is possible just by operating a three-way flow path switching valve that must be fixed on the KEG coupler.
3. Prevents the narrowness of scale and removes residues in pipes because regular sanitation management is possible.
