SM-3100ST

The DC Spark Tester is a device installed in a UTP or communication cable production bunching equipment to detect bad insulation. Installed right before 7 pair, 100 Pair or 200 Pair bunching, it is used to detect pin holes or cuts in the cable. This type of tester can simultaneously check 100 or 200 lines and detect a fault in any line and notify and interrupt the machine.
After interruption, you can use a local tester to check or repair the faulty areas.  

SM-3010ST

This is a Multi Spark Tester used exclusively for UTP. Installed right before bunching, it is used to detect bad insulation in the communication cable.
Easy to install. If any of multiple lines are faulty, it will notify and issue an alarm.  

Local Tester

If one of the multi lines is faulty, then you need to stop the machine and find the location of fault. Because there are few pin holes, you cannot slowly stop the machine to find their locations.

Instead, you can use a local tester to easily find the location of the fault.
