O-Ring is the most basic seal and it has air tight power due to its repelling elasticity when it is assembled in the groove or hole having contacted by sliding surface and pressure. (1) There is a radial seal pressed on the inside and external surface just as piston or rod seal and (2) there is axial seal or face seal pressed each other between upper and lower surface as shown in the picture below.O-Ring is pressed upon assembling and it is become air tight automatically. Especially, static seal will have longer life span.
