Operating Principle
If the compressed air(5.5~9.9 bar, 26℃)is injected to the Vortex Tube through a pipe, it is put into the vortex rotating chamber first, where it creates a whirlwind, while rotating inside. When the compressed air is supplied to the Vortex Tube through a pipe, it is put into the vortex rotating chamber first and rotates at extremely high speed(speed of sound) as 1,000,000RPM.
While the rotating air (primary vortex) heads for the hot air outlet, some of which continues to pass toward the hot air (30℃ ~70℃) outlet by the Adjustable Valve, and the remaining air is returned at the Adjustable Valve, forming a secondary vortex, it is directed toward the cool air outlet. When some of the compressed air passes through the long tube and is injected forcefully, rotating toward the central portion, Vortex Air is forced to spin inward in the long tube.
Internal air switches the heat to the vortex air of the external air. Cold air is discharged into the Vortex Tube bottom, and the hot air is discharged into the Vortex Tube top. The temperature and airflow can be controlled completely by adjusting the Adjustable Knob at the top of the Vortex Tube. For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to use the air pressure of 5~7kgf/㎠ and for the maximum operating pressure to use within 17kgf/㎠.
