1. Description
Pipe heating cable namely Long line heating cable is the customized products designed into particular length and loading configurations and so not as versatile as parallel cables. These Heating Cables are long-circuit length possible, typically with 3-phase. Pipe heating cable require electric supply points only at multi-kilometer intervals(normally up to 250m per each).
Long line (Pipe) heating Cable is mainly widely used for long distance pipe line and oil pipe line. This pipe heating cable is for environment in which the temperature of a transmitting fluid should be maintained warmly to smoothen the flow. Also Tank farms, piers for ocean port vessels, & pipes between petrochemical facilities are all examples of applications for which long line heat tracing may be used. These series-resistance type heating cables can withstand continuous exposure to temperatures up to 250°C.
