Precautions for Installation

• The Vortex Air Water Filters have to maintain the rated pressure and rated flow of the supplied pressure because the separation of water is not smooth when the supplied airflow and pressure are low.
• The piping should be installed close to the front of the instrument.
• Avoid installing it in places where vibrations are made.

Safety Warnings

Failure to comply with the following safety guidelines may result in equipment failure, serious injury or death

• All warnings, precautions, prohibitions, and annotations contained in the manual must be read before installation, operation, and maintenance work, and the instructions specified in the precautions, prohibitions, and annotations must be observed.
• Compressed air is dangerous. Before installing the absorber and the Vortex Air Water Filters, ensure that the system is vented or the pressure has been reduced to atmospheric pressure before installing or maintaining compressed air system components.

Observe all safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear.

• After receiving a Vertex Air Water Filter, perform a visual inspection of the product before its installation. In case of damage to its components, do not install or repair the Filter, which is a moisture eliminator, and contact the head office and the dealer.
• For the operation after the installation of a Vortex Air Filter, the operation below/above the pressure limit or the temperature limit must be prohibited (refer to the specification).
• Be careful not to damage the centrifugal components when removing or tightening the main Vertex Air Water Filter body.
• When checking a Vortex Air Water Filter, be sure to shut off the compressed air.
• Install the products in a safe place.
• Install the products right in front of the instrument to be operated to remove oil and moisture.
